The Mughal Gardens, Chashma Shahi, Pari Mahal, Nishat Bagh and many such marvels, boast of stunning Persian architecture. The city also houses ancient religious places, such as Hazratbal Shrine, Jamia Masjid, Shankaracharya Temple and Kheer Bhawani Temple. A perfect way to conclude your visit would be to indulge in shopping at one of the numerous markets in Srinagar such as Lal Chowk, Residency Road, Polo View, Badshah Chowk and many more..

DAY 1

Arrival in Srinagar
You will be met by our representative at the Srinagar airport. He will assist and transfer you to the deluxe houseboat. Afternoon sightseeing of the Mughal Gardens, visiting Nishat Bagh built by Asaf Khan, the brother -in- law of Jehangir in 1632 AD, and Shalimar Bagh built by Jehangir for his wife empress Nur Jahan. All the gardens are situated on the banks of the Dal Lake with the Zabarwan hills in the background. In the evening you will take a Shikara ride on Dal Lake, where you visit the floating vegetable gardens. While riding the Shikara’s there are plenty of opportunities for bird watching with plentiful species including Kingfisher, Little Bittern, Common Pariah Kites, Grebe etc. Dinner and overnight in Hotel / Deluxe houseboats

SRINAGAR: HALF DAY SIGHTSEEING
Morning sightseeing of the Mughal Gardens, visiting Nishat Bagh built by Asaf Khan, the brother -in- law of Jehangir in 1632 AD, and Shalimar Bagh built by Jehangir for his wife empress Nur Jahan. All the gardens are situated on the banks of the Dal Lake with the Zabarwan hills in the background. Afternoon will be at your leisure for individual activities. Dinner and overnight in Hotel.

SRINAGAR * GULMARG * SRINAGAR
After a delectable breakfast, check-out from the hotel and drive to Gulmarg via Tangmarg Road.
Srinagar, situated on the banks of river Jhelum, is the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir. Its awe-inspiring landscape, magnificent architecture, tombs and temples, exquisite gardens and Dal Lake make it a heaven on earth. Surrounded by a number of lakes, this scenic city, serene in its own way, is also known as the Kashmiri Venice or the Venice of the East. Bestowing its old-world charm on tourists, Srinagar aces in natural beauty and historical significance.

Drive from Srinagar to Gulmarg via Tangmarg Road, and after covering around 50 km, arrive at your destination. Post reaching here, transfer to the hotel and relax for some time.
As serene and peaceful as it can get, Gulmarg is truly a fantasy for all. Gulmarg derived its name from the immense lushness of hills, full of colourful flowers, and is thus one of the most popular destinations in India. A wide expanse of panoramic surroundings, spectacular views and simplicity add solace to the omnipresent charm of this town.

You may go on a fun-filled gondola ride at your own expense that offers a thrilling view of fir-clad slopes. With the evening at your leisure, you may opt for a stroll through enchanting valleys, along mountain streams, and to the lakes in the area.
Later, Drive back to Srinagar, return to the hotel and have a comfortable sleep in your room.

Departure from Srinagar
After a scrumptious breakfast, check-out from the hotel and transfer to the Srinagar airport to continue your onward journey.

  • In pahalgam:sightseeing of chandanwari, betaab valley, baisaran valley and aru valley are not included. If one wishes to visit the same, they can hire a taxi directly at pahalgam taxi on their own.
  • In gulmarg:the vehicle is allowed to drop at main gulmarg or at your hotel and from there onwards one has to walk or can go by ponies on direct payment for local sightseeing in gulmarg. If there will be snowfall our vehicles are allowed till tangmarg only, from tangmarg to gulmarg guest have to take chained jeeps by their own at additional cost (approx. Cost shared basis 500/- per person / private jeep 2000/- )
  • Insonmarg: the vehicle is allowed to drop at main sonmarg and from there onwards one has to walk up to thajwas or one can go by ponies on direct payment. (route is closed during heavy snowfall)
  • 1. Any Airfare, Train fare, Overland Journey which is not mentioned in the Itinerary.
  • 2. Any Medical/rescue evacuation due to mishaps.
  • 3. Any personal nature items like Laundry, bar bills, table bills, camera fee, tips or any other item
