We depart from Delhi in an AC traveler around 6 PM and reach Sari around 11 am the next morning. Sari village located in the Rudraprayag district is our base camp for the trek. As mall village with around 100 houses and just 1 school that was built in 1947, it is an 8 hour drive from Haridwar.
Then trek from sari to Deoriatal, it’s a one hour trek, a gradual climb that becomes steeper after the first 10 minutes. After an hour of climbing we descent a little to reach our camp site besides the lake (at 7,841 ft.) . Have dinner around a bon fire and enjoy the beautiful view. *there is now after source, you’ll have to carry water from sari according to your need.
Wake up to the mesmerizing view of the sun rising from behind the mountains and the rays glistening over the lake .After breakfast we’ll leave for Chopta. The trek gradient is moderate and there is a series of ascents and descents. We move through a forest and are directly ushered up an ascending path towards Rohini bhugyaland Chopta.
